The organic grape spirit "Demitriou Kazaki" embraces years-long experience in spirit production as well as expertise gathered since 1987 by Dimitrios Kazakis, the patriarch of Kazakis House of Viticulture. It is produced from grapes of excellent quality, from the Nea Gonia estate in northwestern Halkidiki, which has dry climate and alkaline soil. The vines are planted on the slopes from the North to the South, so that they drain easily and are ripened by the sun equally on both sides without being “burned” at noon, staying protected by the crown of the plants. The low production (150-200kg per stremma / 600-800kg per acre // 1 acre = 4 stremma) means that all the flavors and aromas of the terroir and the grapes are highly concentrated, resulting in a spirit full of freshness and life memories. At 40% Vol. and in numbered bottles, the unique, organic grape spirit "Demitriou Kazaki" is a fine, easy-to-drink distillate and pairs very well with intense flavors of savory, smoky and spicy appetizers.
